This year’s theme, Toward a More Perfect Union, is rooted in the Constitution’s enduring aspiration “to form a more perfect Union.” From the nation’s founding, the United States has been understood not as a finished project, but as an ongoing endeavor - one in which each generation is called to wrestle with the gap between our highest ideals and our lived realities. Through conversations spanning a wide range of issues and perspectives, participants will examine how individuals and institutions have challenged injustice, expanded opportunity, and strengthened our democracy over time. Public Interest Week invites students to consider the lawyer’s role in that enduring pursuit: helping to move our nation ever closer to the promises embedded in its founding principles.
This multi-day program has been approved for a total of 7.0 (5.0 Substantive and 2.0 Ethics) CLE credits for Pennsylvania lawyers. CLE credit may be available in other jurisdictions as well.
